Another Great Day!
Had a Meet & Greet tonight at the Anderson's home - they were wonderful hosts and I appreciate so much their efforts on my behalf. Also spent a few minutes at the last Gilbert Budget Open House at the Southeast Regional Library. All in all, another great day!

The Campaign Goes Marching On
No pun intended...but we are fast approaching the March 10th Primary Election. Have I mentioned how much I have LOVED getting to meet so many of you?!! I can't help but be excited about all of the amazing people I have met lately.
I just answered a bunch of questions from people in the community that I thought I'd share. I hope it helps you to get to know me a little better.
What do you consider your top 3 priorities currently in life, and in what order?
Top 3 priorities in life are 1) family, 2) service to others and 3) faith
Do you support the new government stimulus package?
I do not support the new stimulus package for a variety of reasons - 1) I don't believe that our elected officials should EVER vote on something they have not read or studied. 2) From what we've heard, there are billions of dollars going to programs that will not actually stimulate our economy and the distribution is being spread out over the next several years. 3) I'm not about leaving debt on the shoulders of our children and grandchildren. It is an unnecessary burden.
What would be the main reason I would vote for you?
Vote for me because I have energy, enthusiasm, a fresh perspective, financial experience, strong family values and a strong commitment to work hard on behalf of Gilbert citizens. Vote for me because I communicate well, work great in a team and will always put the people first.
More to come...

CRAZY BUSY WEEK!
This week has been an absolutely crazy, busy, FUN week for the campaign.
Here's the snapshot:
Wednesday: Met with some amazing people from the Gilbert Senior Center and Community Services of Arizona where I learned so much about the services provided in the community through these organizations. I learned about their successes and their challenges and it definitely inspired me to reach out to those in need. Later that evening, I met with some great people from the Seville neighborhood in South Gilbert. Nate & Lalani Hunsaker hosted a Meet & Greet and invited many of their neighbors. It was a great success and I am grateful to Nate & Lalani for reaching out to their friends and neighbors and for allowing me the chance to share my vision for Gilbert with them.
Thursday: Bright and early on Thursday morning, I meet with the Gilbert Rotary - another fantastic organization in Gilbert that provides its members many opportunities to serve in the community. The Rotary motto is "Service Above Self" and it was evident by the energy and volunteer spirit that here in Gilbert, they take that to heart. It was such a pleasure being with some of Gilbert's best. Thursday evening, I attended the beginning of the Leadership Forum Workshop "Finding Your Place in the Community" and I had a chance to see some of the great things that individuals all over Gilbert have been contributing. Lots of organizations were in attendance including United Food Bank, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Gilbert Senior Center. Again, so inspiring to be amongst people who everyday, devote their time, energy and talents into making Gilbert a better place. To top off the day, Jaime & Dana Rogers hosted a Meet & Greet and I loved getting to know their neighbors and friends. The people in attendance had so many thoughtful questions and I enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them.
Friday: Interview with SEVRAR (Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors) went well as they asked many questions specifically relating to Real Estate transactions. So great to hear from people who ALL take a vested interest in Gilbert. I also had the great privilege of going on a Ride-Along with the Gilbert Police Department. My husband was supremely jealous and I learned so much about the many hats that the Gilbert Police wear as they work so hard to protect our town. Saturday evening I was lucky enough to have a Meet & Greet hosted by State Rep. Andy Biggs and his wife Cindy. Great crowd, fantastic dialogue and such tasty treats!
Saturday: Spent a while handing out postcards and fixing street signs with my husband and kids. The weather couldn't have been better. Saturday evening, I was so lucky to attend a Meet & Greet hosted by Greg & Sharon Slater. Talk about fun!!! I met some terrific people who love Gilbert and want to see Gilbert remain a family-friendly, economically sustainable home for all. I was reminded why I felt that running for town council was so important.
Sunday: So glad that Sunday is the day of REST and of FAMILY. :)
Next week is looking to be off-the-charts busy again and I'm looking forward to it!
Just a quick reminder - you may have already received your EARLY BALLOT in the mail - so fill it out and get it mailed in as soon as you can! Also, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9th is the last day to register to vote for the March 10th Primary. Visit the website for more information.

East Valley Tribune Forum
We just finished up the East Valley Tribune Forum and I always think they are great - when they're over! In all seriousness, it is wonderful to have an outlet that allows for candid dialogue about town issues. I hope that it allows the people of Gilbert the opportunity to get to know the candidates based on personality, issues, compatibility and capture of visual of strengths and weaknesses.
Click HERE to watch last week's Arizona Republic Forum. When the link to the Tribune's forum is available, I'll add it.
Thanks again for all of your support - you have been tremendous!

Pancake Breakfast - Flat Out Success!
We had our second pancake breakfast on Saturday - this time at the Wallin's house. We had a great turnout, some delicious pancakes (thank you Firefighter Daryl!) and we gave out lots and lots of yard signs and bumper stickers. Let's hear it for the Arizona weather which has been so cooperative despite the fact that historically, it always rains at least one day during the FBR Open!
I hope there is some excitement buzzing about the upcoming Election on MARCH 10. (That was just another little reminder :) EARLY BALLOTS WILL BE MAILED ON FEBRUARY 9th!
Many people have asked how I think I'm going to be successful in this race ... it comes down to ONE little thing that makes a MAJOR difference. That difference is YOU! When you take the time to tell 5 of your friends, we hope that those friends will tell another 5 and so on. People are more likely to vote on a personal recommendation than by any other means.
So tell some friends to VOTE for JENN DANIELS (or "Vote for MOM!" as my little E likes to say) - I know that together, we CAN have a positive, pro-family voice on our Town Council.
